LOCATION PANO GITONIA
Pano Gitonia is situated in the village of Potamos which is climbing on the mountain side just over the port of Aegiali on Amorgos. The village is very pittoresque and has keept the traditional architecture and way of life.
DISTANCES
Down to the port with the beach, supermarket, doctor, pharmacy etc is about 10 min to walk down and 20-30 min up because it’s uphill. With car it’s just some few minutes.
Just some few minutes walk away is the taverna “Kamara”.
WALKING
Amorgos is famous for it’s beautiful footpaths which take you up into
the high and dramatic mountains full of herbs and flowers. From
Potamos you have easy access to many of them.
